NPower: Bridging the Gap from the Military to the Technology Industry
This article chronicles Justin Von Braun’s transformative career journey from a U.S. Army infantryman to an IT professional, facilitated by NPower’s Tech Fundamentals Program and Globant’s “Code Your Future” initiative. Through this partnership, Justin received specialized training in IT fundamentals, which enabled him to transition from military service to founding The IT Bros, a consulting firm that helps businesses optimize their tech workflows. Raleigh’s Data Bull Has An Answer For Nonprofits And SMBs Drowning In Data
Data Bull, a Raleigh-based SaaS startup founded in 2023 by Marshall Worth and Matt Elliott, aims to solve data management challenges for nonprofits and small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) through their alphaBI platform, which leverages AI and business intelligence tools. The platform offers an innovative AI Assistant that allows users to conversationally interact with their data, generating customized interactive dashboards and real-time analytics reports, enabling organizations without dedicated data analysts to easily access and understand their information. Motivated by their shared experience with data management frustrations, Worth and Elliott created Data Bull to make analytics more accessible and faster, offering three service tiers ranging from $29.99 to $250 per month, with the goal of alleviating “data fatigue” and empowering organizations to efficiently utilize their data resources.
Goodera launches AI Resource Hub for Non-profit organizations in their 1st AI for Impact Summit
Goodera’s inaugural AI for Impact Summit, held virtually on November 26, 2024, brought together over 1,000 participants from the social impact sector to explore AI’s potential for driving positive change. The event featured keynote discussions by prominent leaders like Ursula Burns, Arianna Huffington, and Fredric Werner, who emphasized AI’s transformative potential in addressing global challenges such as healthcare, education, and climate resilience.
